Living in Assynt, Chris is primarily a landscape photographer, but also undertakes commissions and enjoys environmental portraiture. He’s particularly interested in the narrative of journey, whether that’s one of time or miles. But that “journey” is not a road-trip or travel blog; it is far more local, and usually includes walking boots and a coat (*other garments also available).
Chris looks for connection; himself to the landscape, and one shot to another. He’s not averse to shooting popular views and landmarks, but is more likely to head off to find his own.
Chris uses a variety of kit, usually selected for the distance he has to carry it, and how wet it’s likely to get.
