Ben A'an - 100 Times
On 6 October 2018 I completed a task I set myself three years ago, climb one mountain 100 times. Being a sensible chap (although this point is debatable – what sensible person climbs the same mountain 100 times in 3 years).
The Tipping Point - Lochan Nan Cat
It was 5pm Sunday and I had just finished my 7th day of work. It was now time to drive the 2 hrs 10 minutes to Lawers in Perthshire, then a 2 hr 20 minute ascent in the dark up to Lochan nan Cat at the foot of Ben Lawers.

This was my last night of a 5 day tour around the far north west of Scotland. The weather and conditions had been challenging all week. I checked the weather forecast for the Torridon area on my phone and we were to have little cloud cover overnight!
