Kevin started out doing photography at school over 30 years ago. The course at school was a module covering the basics of film photography – how to use the camera, exposure triangle, processing the negatives, and printing in the darkroom. He took to it like a duck to water, and at the end of the module he was so proud to have his image shown in an exhibition highlighting the best photos produced on the course. He immediately left school after the course. Life, work, love, and kids all took up his time until his marriage broke up.
In 2013 he fell back into photography to fill a void in his life. Kevin joined the Society of Scottish Landscape photographers, a great group of like minded people who want to share Scotland’s beauty.
Now, Kevin is happily remarried and balances a full time job in Retail with photographing landscapes, weddings, portraits and property. And, ironically, in his free time, his preferred format has again become shooting film, and he is loving every minute of it.
